First of all I have to apologize that I haven't posted anything over the weekend. It was a very busy weekend with the family and I had to tie up some loose ends. Now that's done and back to New Gadgets Guru. Did you know that Microsoft is going to release another version of Windows which is to be called Windows 7? Windows 7 Beta 1 is probably coming in December 2008.
Looking at the screenshot above, it seems to me that Windows 7 is going to look a lot like Windows Vista. I wonder why! Microsoft haters and lovers have been complaining about Vista right from day 1. But Microsoft has not paid attention to this and has tried to kill Microsoft XP in order to push for Microsoft Vista sales. It would have probably made sense for Microsoft Windows 7 to look like Windows XP. Anyway lets wait and see how the Beta 1 performs.

Anybody want to place a bet on how long after Dec 08 the final version is actually released? Will it even be in 2009?! :-) Microsoft aren't known for punctuality in their releases after all...
