iPhone beats stress!

iphone meditation applicationOmmmm.... Ommmm... aaah! That feels good! Would you like to meditate to feel good as well? All you need is an iPhone now. Apparently Lingon i Korg Software Creations have come up with just the right application for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Its called the Meditation Timer.

This application is supposed to be more than a normal alarm or timer on the iPhone. It gives you a choice of two color schemes - purple and white or green and white. Soothing perhaps? You can set the hours, minutes and seconds like the native alarm function on the iPhone. You'll be alerted (or awakened from your slumber) by a gentle chime called "Spinning Bowl" or you could also set it to vibrate. Don't forget to hold on to the iPhone when you're meditating or you might not realize it vibrating. If you prefer a countdown timer, you could set that as well. I really don't see the innovation here.

Well this all new (pun intended) iPhone application is available for free for the first 5,000 customers. So if you've got some time and want to check this out go and download it NOW. If you're customer number 5,001 its going to cost you $0.99.

If you've got any more boring applications for the iPhone that you would like to share let me know. I'll write a post about it. We could probably compile the top 10 worst iPhone applications.

bm - anything which helps with your Jedi training isn't a waste of time ;-)

What surprises me is how much development there is around the iphone. I mean, we have had other mobile phones and mobile operating systems for years and we seemingly have more iphone apps that for all the other mobile OS put together. Why is that?
