are called Snapter which helps to convert your digital camera into a mobile scanner. Now you can snap a photo anywhere you are and run it through snapter which ensures that your image looks like it was scanned on a flatbed scanner.
Well this certainly looks like a great tool to use for bloggers like me. I might suddenly look at an interesting article in a technology or gadget magazine which I want to blog about. Now I can just capture a photo of the page and later run it through snapter. Awesome! The basic version is free for download but you will need to buy the premium version.

I'm sure everyone has properly recovered from the New Year's hangover (for your sake I hope you really have). But how would you know if you have had one too many before you get behind the wheel of your sports car? A breathalyzer would definitely let you know if you have actually exceeded the legal limit of alcohol in you bloodstream. If you want to get one for yourself, then you might want to consider iBreath, an electronic device that plugs in to your iPhone and converts it to a breathalyzer.
How does it work?
The iBreath Alcohol Breathalyzer lets you take your own breath test so that you wouldn't have to end up in jail or pay thousands of dollars in fines. This device snaps into your iPhone as an accessory and you will need to exhale into this device for about 5 seconds. A couple of seconds later, this tool shows your results so that you can know if you are within the legal limit to drive.
The device doesn't need any batteries and actually uses the iPhone to power it up. Actually, it doesn't really need an iPhone to work since it also comes with a 12V car plug which you can use in case you are not an iPhone user.
What else is included?
It also includes an FM transmitter so you can use it to play your tunes on your car stereo in case you don't have an auxiliary input. Its definitely a bit expensive for an FM transmitter (retails at around $79). But since a breath analyzer is included with it, it could be worth considering. Next time when you throw you used plastic bottle into the recycle bin think about this - that bottle could just give birth to a new phone in Motorola's production line. No, I'm not kidding! Motorola has in fact unveiled the world's first mobile phone which is made from recycled plastic bottles. Looks like since Motorola hasn't been able to offer any innovation in terms of technology, the marketing team has taken over to give a new image to its phones.
The Moto W233 Renew is described by Motorola as the "world's first carbon neutral mobile phone." Because it is based on recycled plastics, Motorola said today that 20% less energy is needed to produce the phone, compared to the standard plastic process. To further the green theme, the Renew will come to customers in a box that is reduced in size, and with brochures printed using vegetable-based inks on 100% post-consumer recycled paper.
Device specifications or price details are not available just yet. But will consumers care? I mean, would you choose the Motorola W233 over similarly priced Nokia or Sony Ericsson just because it is made from recycled plastics? C'mon moto - show us what this baby can do!

How would you like to stream content from your PC to your TV without running ugly wires around the living room? Now you can stream your favorite movies directly to your brand new large screen TV using Wisair's USB adapter. If you decide to get creative, you could also stream the content to a secondary monitor or even a projector. If this really kicks off, I wonder what's the fate of those projectors in meeting rooms.
This Wisair USB adapter offers VGA and HDMI connections but here's the catch - it can't stream anything in 1080p. So if you were planning to stream that HD movie from your PC to the TV, that's not going to happen for now. My guess is that this limitation is due to the bandwidth limitation of USB 2.0 and nothing else. But at $129 this is a good deal for those who regularly stream content to their TVs. I'm not one of those but if a version with USB 3.0 comes out, then I might consider getting one to stream those HD movies I bought on iTunes!

Canon has been doing reasonably well in the world of camcorders. Recently there have been more affordable high definition camcorders in the market and the Canon VIXIA High Definition Camcorder
First things first, the Canon VIXIA HF100 High Definition Camcorder
The other advantage of having a flash memory as the recording media is the fact that its extremely robust. Even if you were to hit a wall (not too hard or intentionally please) the flash memory will be more forgiving than a conventional hard disk drive or a DVD recorder. This is certainly a good value for those who use cameras while playing sports or outdoor activities.
The Canon VIXIA HF100 also sports a Canon Full HD CMOS sensor which ensures that your images are captured in high definition as well. This is the same CMOS sensor that is being used in the EOS series digital SLR cameras.
The DIGIC DV II image processor which is built into this camcorder is specially made for high definition format. Since video and still images have different color requirements, DIGIC DV II HD digital signal processing ensures optimal image quality for both HD video and still images. The result is an excellent reproduction of color tones - especially that of the human skin.
Another feature that this high definition camcorder boasts is the 24p cinema mode. 24p Cinema Mode is a feature demanded by professional filmmakers and previously available only on pro-level camcorders. Having this mode on your camcorder ensures that your videos have the "film-look". I'm sure that many aspiring young directors out there would like to try their hands on making their own movies and you could probably be one of them. So if you are one, I'm sure you would love this feature.
Other features such as the 2.7 inch LCD, HDMI terminal, image stabilization and Auto Focus are pretty standard which is expected in even entry level camcorders. Overall, I would say that this is a pretty neat camcorder - IF you are looking for a high definition camcorder that is!
If you've got yourself a brand new HDTV but yet to upgrade your camcorder, then I would suggest that you get the Canon VIXIA HF100 High Definition Camcorder

Palm has been pretty quiet with its product launches to compete in the super competitive smartphone category. But the latest news is that Palm is will be launching its latest and greatest smartphone running the Nova operating system very soon - in fact it might even be launched as early as this week. This new phone will have a full QWERTY keyboard that will slide down behind the touchscreen.
Apparently the new operating system has been described as amazing - haven't we heard this before like a million times? But Palm is being smart by launching a full software marketplace as well during the launch of this smartphone. This is something that Android missed. Expect palm to make an announcement during CES this week.
